Spencer holds a B.S. in Industrial Design with honors from Art Center College of Design. He began his career with Creative Design Affiliates in Fullerton CA, where he worked in various industrial design programs in electronic & medical equipment design. In 1975, Spencer was hired by M Design and in 1981 he became a company officer. He has spearheaded design projects in consumer products, electronics, computer-related products & mechanical engineering. Besides serving two terms as President of the National Board of Art Center College of Design Alumni, he is an active member of the Industrial Designers Society of America & has spoken before professional groups on industrial design. He recently taught 3 terms in the Graduate Industrial Design Program at Art Center College of Design. He sets the strategic vision for M and is personally involved in every product design and development program or packaging design program to ensure each project solution exceeds client expectations and maintains the highest levels of innovation, creativity + competence. Spencer enjoys painting watercolors outdoors and sharing them online. He loves traveling & has been to many interesting places in the world through his work as a designer.
